The gardening plans on the new landscaping went out the window yesterday but it couldn’t have been for a better reason. The skies opened up like they haven’t in months, giving the garden a well earned soak, and us, a reprieve from watering.

Tradie Appreciation Post.

This week has been a monumental one at Willeroo, with the completion of the rock and brick walls of our landscaping.

These tradies have been assisting us, on and off with both our house and garden restoration for over four years. Travelling a three hour round trip everyday to help us to achieve our dreams. Using their hands to take rocks and bricks to create something truly special. And best of all, their collaboration and friendship throughout.

A quick snap shot of the last four years of our life to all of you who have recently started following along on our journey. We live in rural NSW and started internal renovations on our homestead in 2020. We then renovated a stone building in 2021/22, and for the past two years have been landscaping. We have lots of plans for the future for other buildings here on the farm so thank you for being a part of it all!

A very exciting development at Willeroo this week

A very exciting development at Willeroo this week with the commencement of the last phase of our landscaping. This will include both stone and brick retaining walls. We can’t wait to see this last part come together to see the back of the piles of dirt, the end of the brick cleaning and not spending every evening on Facebook Marketplace searching for bricks and stone.
