A quick snap shot of the last four years of our li A quick snap shot of the last four years of our life to all of you who have recently started following along on our journey. We live in rural NSW and started internal renovations on our homestead in 2020. We then renovated a stone building in 2021/22, and for the past two years have been landscaping. We have lots of plans for the future for other buildings here on the farm so thank you for being a part of it all!

A very exciting development at Willeroo this week A very exciting development at Willeroo this week with the commencement of the last phase of our landscaping. This will include both stone and brick retaining walls. We can’t wait to see this last part come together to see the back of the piles of dirt, the end of the brick cleaning and not spending every evening on Facebook Marketplace searching for bricks and stone.

After a solid two years of renovations on the hous After a solid two years of renovations on the house, over the last 18 months we have been concentrating on the garden. Due to the significant excavation, for most of this time the garden has included various piles of soil/rock/clay. This spring it has been exciting to see new plants blooming and garden beds starting to fill out. We can’t wait for the garden to continue to develop over time.
Two years ago we decided to extend our garden to i Two years ago we decided to extend our garden to incorporate an ugly shed in a paddock, to a timber-cladded chicken pen within.

We have had some recent progress with our landscap We have had some recent progress with our landscaping. Henry has been busy on the excavator, cutting in new levels and trenching, and yesterday we concreted the footings for the new retaining walls. In a few weeks with will progress with adding both rock and brick walls, after which we will add lawn, plants and resurface the driveway (eventually!).
